Fibre To The House!

cctv system installation in Geelong

In 2013 our company was asked to install fibre optic from an adminstration house on a remote minee site in SAs Yorke Peninsula. Along side this fibre we also needed to install copper cabling for network inside the admin house, inside the main site office and to Geologists' offices around the compound

We need to arrange a trench to bury the fibre which was to stretch across the property for 300m and this was to connect the main site office where the main Wireless Internet came in, down to the house.

Between the site office and the Geologists' offices we ran underground copper cat 6 and local cat 6 inside the Geologists' offices.

Further work on the mine site saw us returning to swap out a wireless radio for main internet on the site's main office and local data run inside what was known as the rock shed or core sample shed.

Rex Minerals was located near Ardossan, some 200Km North West of Adelaide on the popular holiday spot of the Yorke Peninsula.
